Everything You Need to Know
We've answered the 14 questions we get asked most. If you don't see yours, we're one message away — response time is under 2 hours.
October to March is ideal. The weather is pleasant, outdoor activities run smoothly, and the surroundings of Kevadia are lush and comfortable to explore. Avoid May and June — temperatures regularly exceed 42°C and the experience suffers. The monsoon season (July–September) brings beautiful greenery, but some activities and boat rides may be restricted due to water levels. If you can choose, aim for November–February for the very best experience.
No. The Statue of Unity complex is closed every Monday for maintenance and operational reasons. We strongly advise planning your visit between Tuesday and Sunday. If your travel dates include a Monday, we can help structure your itinerary so that day is spent on en-route sightseeing or arrival/departure — ensuring nothing is wasted.
Our package prices typically include accommodation for the nights specified, meals as described in the package (usually breakfast and dinner), and dedicated booking and on-ground assistance from our team. What is not included unless explicitly stated: attraction entry tickets (Statue, Jungle Safari, Flower Valley etc.), activity fees, and transport from your home city to Kevadia. We are fully transparent about this upfront and can bundle these extras into a single quoted price on request.
The easiest way is to WhatsApp us directly on +91 70960 90638 with your travel dates, group size and any preferences. You can also call the same number or fill in the enquiry form on our Contact page. We respond within 2 hours and send a full confirmed booking summary within 24 hours. No advance payment is required to hold a tentative slot.
Yes. We regularly arrange transport for guests from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Rajkot, and most major cities in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Options include private car/van hire, AC bus for larger groups, and train ticket assistance. Simply tell us your origin city, group size and preferred dates when you enquire, and we'll include a transport quote in your package.
We operate a fair and transparent cancellation policy:
- 7 or more days before arrival: 80% refund of total amount paid.
- 3–6 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- Within 48 hours of arrival: Non-refundable.
Rescheduling (changing your travel dates) is available subject to accommodation availability at the time of request. We always try to accommodate genuine emergencies — please talk to us before cancelling.
The Projection Mapping show at the base of the Statue of Unity takes place every evening at 7:30 PM sharp and lasts 15–20 minutes. It is not a separately ticketed event — simply make your way to the statue base area before 7:25 PM to get a good viewing spot. The show is subject to weather conditions; in heavy rain it may be cancelled. It is one of the highlights of any Kevadia visit and we always plan our guests' schedules to include it.
Absolutely. Corporate group bookings are one of our specialities. We've handled groups ranging from 10 to 500+ for companies across India. Corporate packages can be built to include team-building activities, conference or off-site meeting facilities, bulk accommodation bookings across multiple properties, customised dining, and dedicated on-ground coordinators. Get in touch with your group size and dates and we'll put together a comprehensive proposal within 48 hours.
It depends on what kind of traveller you are. Tent City offers a unique glamping experience — you're sleeping in well-furnished air-conditioned tents, dining in a communal setting, and often getting live folk music performances in the evenings. It feels immersive and memorable. A hotel offers more privacy, more consistent amenities, and suits those who need a quiet, comfortable base after a day of sightseeing. Neither is objectively better. We're happy to talk through your travel style and give you an honest recommendation — just WhatsApp us.
The Statue of Unity complex is open 8 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed every Monday. The Viewing Gallery inside the statue has a last entry cut-off of 5 PM, so arrive well before then if you want to go up. The Projection Mapping light show happens at the statue base at 7:30 PM — this is accessible even after the complex technically closes for daytime entry.
Absolutely. Kevadia is a very family-friendly destination. For children, we can arrange special activity packs, child-friendly meal options, and we'll flag the best age-appropriate attractions (the Jungle Safari and Cactus Garden are particular favourites with kids). For elderly guests, we plan itineraries that avoid excessive walking, arrange mobility assistance where needed, and prioritise ground-floor accommodation. Please mention any specific requirements when you enquire so we can plan accordingly.
Yes — fully. All of our packages are a starting point, not a fixed product. We can build completely bespoke itineraries around your specific travel dates, group size, interests, budget and pace of travel. Whether you want a quick 1-night focused visit, an extended 3-night family holiday, or a luxury couples retreat, we can put something together. Just tell us what matters most to you and we'll build around that.
Yes. We have helped hundreds of NRI families from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE and beyond reconnect with India's heritage through a Statue of Unity visit. We handle the entire booking process remotely — all communication is over WhatsApp or email, and payment can be made via international transfer. We understand the unique needs of NRI travellers and make the experience completely smooth from abroad. Just WhatsApp us from wherever you are and we'll take care of everything.
The Narmada Maha Aarti is a spiritual ceremony held every evening at 7 PM on the banks of the Narmada River, within the Kevadia complex near the Statue of Unity. Priests perform a fire ritual with lamps, flowers and chanting as the sun sets behind the mountains. Tickets are priced at approximately ₹1,100 per person and should be booked in advance during peak season. Many of our guests describe it as the single most moving experience of their entire trip. We always recommend including it in your itinerary.
