Jungle
Safari
A 56-hectare zoological park within the Statue of Unity complex — walk-in bird and primate habitats, a modern Serpentarium, big cats, African wildlife and an endangered Indian rhino, all reachable on a complimentary e-cart.
A Real Zoological Park, Not a Drive-Through
The Jungle Safari at Kevadia is the Sardar Patel Zoological Park — a proper 56-hectare zoological park, not a quick drive-by attraction. It's genuinely large enough to reward a slower pace, so give yourself the full visit window rather than rushing it.
- Walk-in bird and primate habitats, a modern Serpentarium, and open enclosures for Indian deer and antelope.
- African species including giraffe, zebra and wildebeest, plus an endangered Indian rhino and African hippo.
- Gaur, sloth bear, and separate Indian wild dog and wolf enclosures.
- A complimentary e-cart inside the park, subject to availability — plan on walking some stretches on busy days.
Wildlife You'll Encounter
A mix of Indian and African species spread across walk-in habitats and open enclosures.
Practical Visit Tips
Best Viewing Windows
Early morning (8–11 AM) and late afternoon (3–5 PM) are when most animals are active and visible. Midday viewing, especially in summer, can be quieter.
The E-Cart Isn't Guaranteed
A complimentary e-cart operates inside the park but is subject to availability and can't be reserved. Wear comfortable shoes in case you end up walking sections.
Carry Water & a Hat
The park is spread over 56 hectares with limited shade in stretches — carry water, especially between March and June.
Bundled Into Classic Day
If you're already booking the Classic Day Package, the Jungle Safari is included — no need to buy it twice.
Professional Cameras Need a Separate Pass
Entry tickets cover phone and standard camera use. DSLRs and other professional camera equipment require a separate photography permit at the gate — check with staff on arrival if you're carrying one.
