River rafting at Khalwani puts you on Grade I-III rapids on the Narmada, moving through a shallow canyon with forest pressing in on both banks — a genuinely different landscape from the open plazas around the Statue itself. It's a guided group activity: a certified instructor sits in each raft and calls the strokes, so no prior whitewater experience is needed. Because it depends on the river, it's run subject to weather and current water conditions.

  • Full safety gear — helmet and life jacket — provided and mandatory for every rafter
  • Calmer pools between rapids to catch your breath and take in the scenery
  • Fixed pickup and drop at the Shrestha Bharat Bhavan (SBB) parking area
  • Sessions may be adjusted or paused if the Narmada is running too high or too low
