Two days covers the essentials. Three days is where Kevadia stops feeling like a checklist and starts feeling like an actual holiday — enough time to add river rafting, slow down at the gardens, and not be watching the clock on your last morning.

This is the itinerary we build when someone tells us they have three full days and want to see everything properly.

Day 1: Arrival & the Icons

TimePlan
MorningTravel to Kevadia, check in
AfternoonViewing Gallery (₹440/adult) — go before 2 PM if possible
Late afternoonEkta Cruise (₹470/adult), or the Sardar Sarovar Boating ride if you'd rather stay closer to the dam
EveningNarmada Maha Aarti (₹1,270/person), then the 7:30 PM light show

This front-loads the two things everyone travels for — the statue itself and the evening riverfront experience — so nothing gets rushed on your last day if plans shift. If you'd like someone narrating the statue's history rather than reading it off panels, ask about adding a paid guide service to your afternoon slot.

Day 2: Wildlife, Adventure & Gardens

TimePlan
Early morningRiverfront cycling (₹290/person), before the heat
Mid-morningJungle Safari (₹230/adult) — allow a full 2 hours, then a quick stop at the Pets Zone next door if the kids want more
AfternoonKhalwani River Rafting (₹1,150/adult) — this is the day it fits. Not in the mood for whitewater? The Khalwani to Zarvani Eco Tour runs from the same base
EveningGardens — Maze Garden and Unity Glow Garden after dark

Day 2 is where the extra day earns its keep. Rafting at Khalwani is a 45-minute drive out and doesn't fit comfortably into a 2-day plan alongside everything else — with 3 days, you're not choosing between it and the safari.

Day 3: Slow Morning & Departure

TimePlan
MorningCactus & Butterfly Garden, Vishwa Van — whichever you skipped, or a slower loop through Arogya Van, Bonsai Garden and Ekta Nursery, which all sit close together
Late morningPool time if your property has one, or a slow breakfast. Kamlam Park is a free, no-ticket option if you just want a bench and some shade before checkout
MiddayCheck out, begin the journey home

No rushing on your last morning — the itinerary is designed to be genuinely finished by the end of Day 2, with Day 3 as a buffer rather than another packed day. If you're travelling with kids and still have an hour spare, the Dino Trail's forest walk to a dinosaur replica is an easy, low-cost add-on before you head out.

What This Costs in Attraction Tickets

Viewing Gallery, Aarti, Cruise, Cycling, Safari and Rafting together run to roughly ₹3,850 per adult across the three days. See our full ticket price guide for the complete breakdown, including the smaller garden tickets.

Where to Stay for Three Days

With more time on the ground, it's worth picking a property you actually want to spend an evening at rather than just sleep in. Statue of Unity Tent City 1 has a pool and landscaped grounds worth lingering in; The Fern Sardar Sarovar if you want a proper hotel pool to recover in after the rafting.
