Shreshtha Bharat Bhavan — SBB for short — is the main visitor reception, parking and transit hub for the entire Ekta Nagar complex, and the one place almost every road visitor to the Statue of Unity passes through without necessarily knowing its name. It isn't the monument, and it isn't a museum or paid attraction you buy a ticket to enter. It's infrastructure — and knowing what to expect there before you arrive makes the first hour of your trip a lot smoother.

Private vehicles cannot drive right up to the statue. If you're arriving by car, taxi or bus, SBB is where you park, sort out tickets if you haven't booked online, and switch onto the free shuttle bus network that carries you the rest of the way — a short shuttle ride from the statue itself.

Ramada Encore by Wyndham operates at this same location — so if that's your stay, you're essentially arriving right where you're sleeping, with parking, tickets and shuttle access all a short walk from your room. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help line up tickets and pickups ahead of time.

Before You Go

Practical Arrival Tips

Carry a Card

The same-day ticket counter at SBB doesn't accept cash. If you'd rather not depend on it at all, book your tickets online in advance at soutickets.in before you travel.

Plan for the Shuttle

You won't drive to the statue directly. Budget time for parking, the ticket process if needed, and the shuttle ride — it's a short hop, but it's still a step in your morning, not something instant.

Use the Lockers

If you're arriving before hotel check-in or heading out after checkout, the baggage lockers at SBB mean you don't have to carry your bags around the complex all day.

It's Not the Statue Itself

Don't expect a monument experience at SBB — it's a functional arrival hub. The viewing gallery, aarti and light show are all a further shuttle ride away.
