Sightseeing Package
Statue of Unity
The simplest, most affordable way to see the Statue of Unity complex — campus grounds, museum and sightseeing stops on the free SOU bus network, without going up the statue itself. ₹580 per adult, around 4 to 6 hours.
Everything in the Sightseeing Package
A grounds-and-museum visit built for travellers who want to see the Statue of Unity complex without paying for Viewing Gallery access.
Campus Grounds Access
Entry to the Statue of Unity campus itself — the landscaped grounds around the statue's base, viewpoints at ground level, and the surrounding public areas of the complex. This is the foundational ticket that gets you onto the site.
Museum Entry
Entry to the on-site museum, which tells the story of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and India's integration through exhibits, galleries and audio-visual displays — a good indoor break in the middle of the day.
Sightseeing Stops Around the Complex
Stops at the publicly accessible sightseeing points within the Statue of Unity zone that don't require a separate paid ticket — a way to see more of the complex than the museum and grounds alone.
SOU Bus Transport
Use of the official AC shuttle bus network that runs within the Statue of Unity zone, Tuesday to Sunday, roughly 8 AM to 10 PM, every 15–20 minutes. Private vehicles aren't allowed inside the core zone, so this shuttle is how you move between the entry point, the campus and sightseeing stops.
Sightseeing Package
Campus, museum and sightseeing stops on the free SOU shuttle network.

Booking Requirements
A valid Aadhar card (or other accepted government photo ID) is required at booking and again at entry for every adult and child on the ticket. Carry the physical ID — it's checked at the gate.
The complex is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays, so this package can't be used on a Monday visit. Entry opens at 8:00 AM, with last entry at 6:00 PM.
A Realistic Half-Day Plan
Built around the real opening hours of the complex — allow flexibility around each stop rather than treating this as a fixed schedule.
| Time | Plan |
|---|---|
| 8:00 AM | Entry & security check at the gate. Complex opens at 8:00 AM sharp. |
| 8:15 – 9:15 AM | Campus grounds — walk the base of the statue and the ground-level viewpoints. Allow around an hour here before the crowds build up. |
| 9:15 – 10:30 AM | Museum visit. Give this a solid hour to hour-and-a-quarter to see the exhibits properly. |
| 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Shuttle bus around to the sightseeing stops included in this package. Buses run every 15–20 minutes, so allow some waiting time between stops. |
| 12:30 – 1:00 PM | Head back to the exit via shuttle, or take a break at the food court near the entry point. |
| Optional | Since this is a valid Statue of Unity entry ticket, you're welcome to stay on until the free 7:45–8:10 PM Laser Show / Projection Mapping display — it isn't a listed inclusion of this package, but it doesn't need a separate ticket either, only a valid entry ticket for the day. |
Sightseeing Package FAQ
Quick answers about what the Sightseeing Package covers and how it compares to our other day packages. If you don't see your question, we're one message away.
No. The Sightseeing Package (₹580/adult) covers campus grounds access, museum entry, sightseeing stops around the complex and SOU bus transport, but it does not include the 153m Viewing Gallery. If you want to go up the statue, our Classic Day Package (₹750/adult) or Express Day Package (₹1,600/adult, fast-track) both include Viewing Gallery access.
Most visitors spend around 4 to 6 hours on this package, depending on how long you linger at the museum and sightseeing stops, and how busy the free shuttle buses are that day.
Indian nationals need a valid Aadhar card (or another accepted government photo ID) at booking and entry. Foreign nationals should book our International Visitor Package instead, which requires a passport.
The complex is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays. Entry runs from 8:00 AM, with last entry at 6:00 PM and the complex closing at 7:00 PM.
Not on the same ticket — Viewing Gallery access is a separate booking with its own time slot. If you think you'll want to go up, it's simpler to book the Classic Day Package from the start rather than trying to add it on site.
