Paid Guide Service
Statue of Unity
A multilingual guide who actually explains the place — history, engineering and cultural context, not just a walk between photo stops.
Worth It If You Want the Real Story
Most visitors walk past the same viewpoints and photo spots without ever learning why the statue looks the way it does, how the engineering behind it works, or what the surrounding Sardar Sarovar Dam actually means. A guide changes that — the same visit, but with the context that makes it stick.
History & Background
The story of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's integration of over 500 princely states, and why this particular site was chosen for a monument of this scale.
Architecture & Engineering
How the statue was constructed, the design choices behind its scale and structure, and details about the Viewing Gallery and surrounding complex that are easy to miss without someone pointing them out.
Cultural Context
The Narmada River's significance, the Sardar Sarovar Dam's role in the region, and how the whole Ekta Nagar complex fits into the bigger picture — context that turns a checklist visit into something you actually understand.
Multilingual — English, Hindi, Gujarati
Tell us your preferred language when you book and we'll match you with a guide who's comfortable in it, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Walks the Complex With You
The guide accompanies your group on foot between attractions rather than meeting you at a single spot — pairing this with our Golf Cart Service is a good option if you'd rather not walk the full complex.
Paid Guide Service
A genuinely valuable add-on for anyone who wants depth, not just a day ticket. Pairs with any package.
What to Plan For
Not Included
- Statue of Unity Viewing Gallery or attraction entry tickets — see the Classic Day Package
- Transport around the complex — see our Golf Cart Service if you'd like a cart alongside your guide
- Food, refreshments and personal expenses during the visit
Booking Logistics
Pickup is at the SBB help desk or the bus bay near the Statue of Unity entrance. The service runs Tuesday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM, with the guide accompanying you for up to 8 hours within that window.
Since this is an add-on rather than a standalone experience, most visitors book their day ticket first and add the guide on top — tell us your package and preferred start time when you message us.
Guides get booked up on weekends and during peak season, so we'd suggest messaging us a day or two ahead of your visit date rather than trying to arrange one on the spot.
